Alphabet (Google) is now the worlds most valuable public company
Alphabet Inc has kicked Apple to the post and become the worlds most valuable public company. Alphabet now has a market capitalization just less than $565 billion based on its recent post-market movement, where as Apple has now dropped to $539 billion.
Alphabet’s rise to the top is partly due to Apple shares falling 25% with growing concerns about the slowing sales of the iPhone and many speculating that this may be the start of a major downfall for Apple.
